It’s a little moment of self-love every time you step into GLO LAB. If it’s your first visit, there’s no need to feel nervous — we’re here to guide you through your colour choice and make sure you feel capable, comfortable and confident using your self-service automated tan.

When you arrive, a GLO LAB Specialist will always be at reception to support you.

We began our own automated spray-tan journey years ago, so we genuinely understand what it feels like the first time — and we’re here to make it simple, smooth and empowering for you.

1. Pre-Tan Preparation

For best tanning results:

Exfoliate the night before - the entire body, focusing on hands, elbows, knees, and feet, the day before.
Bring loose-fitting clothing for your appointment.
Choose what to wear in the booth (G-string, bra, or pants are options).
Avoid wearing perfume (makeup is acceptable).
Decide if you want a spray tan on your face.
Choose your desired tan type and shade (ask us if you're unsure)

2. Upon arrival to GLO LAB!

Check in on the iPad at GLO LAB Reception (feel free to come early and wait in cafe area)
Speak to one of our team if you're unsure or have questions
Enter GLO LAB Spray Tan Booth at the time of your appointment
Follow the 4 steps below in the designated change area

STEP 1.

Undress to comfort level and remove all jewellery.

STEP 2

Apply complimentary hair net. Leave ears and hairline exposed.

STEP 3.

Apply complimentary barrier cream to feet and hands, including fingernails.

STEP 4

Apply Sticky Feet to undersoles of feet so soles of feet are not tanned

3. Select Tan & enter the GLO LAB Booth

Before you enter the booth Select your Tan colour and intensity, can be found HERE
Select your Colour number on the screen located on the outside left of the BOOTH
Step into the booth and wave your hands in front of the green light to Trigger the first stage -Ultra Pro Perfector spray. This clear formular is to prep your skin and improves the longevity and quality of your Spray tan
The GLO LAB Booth will provide audio instructors and walk you through what to do and move you on automatically to step 4, your very own TAN!!

4. Automated Spray Tan - 4 standing positions!

After the Ultra Pro Perfector has been applied, another set of audio instructions will walk you through 4 additional positions whilst applying your selected GLO LAB Spray Tan. Follow the position instructions carefully to ensure an even tan. Remember to turn your head for side 2 & 3 positions

5. Post - Tan !

To optimise the longevity of your tan please follow the below guidelines

Do not shower until at least 8 hours after your tan (For rapid tan shower can be between 1-3 hours )
Your tan will be fully dry once completed
Place all disposable accessories into the bin
Your tan will process over a period of 3-24 hours depending on the type and shade selected
Do not swim in the ocean until 24 or more hours as your tan is still processing
Wear loose clothing
Enjoy your tan
